No Voice Unheard is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote an ethic of compassion and respect for all living beings and the planet we share, and encourage a deeper awareness of the effects our actions have on the lives and existence of animals, the environment, and our fellow human beings.
No Voice Unheard generates exposure, education, advocacy, and action, using the venues of literature, music, visual art, public events, media campaigns, publications, lectures, and exhibits. We especially seek to create forums that give visibility to those who are often unseen, ignored, or disregarded by society, and who have difficulty attracting public attention, understanding, and compassion.
Our programs present issues in creative ways which transcend superficial political debate and allow the public to see with the deeper heart of compassion.
Our approaches go beyond symptomatic responses to issues, and instead strive to explore and illuminate the broader underlying attitudes and values that create those issues.
We embrace a concern which does not draw boundaries between humans and
other
beings, which recognizes all beings as having inherent value, and
which affirms the interconnectedness of all life.
